2300 - 0200hrs
Well we managed to get all sorted. Waking up at 7:30ish (I got up at 7 in order to squeeze in my last real shower). 2 Safety briefings later... Mom and Caroline came by as they wanted to see Khruzenshtern unbearth before waving goodbye to us. Which made me a little teary. But the parade of sail was beautiful. Khruzenshtern as always made a great spectical. So from 1100-1700 we pansied around. Everyone was on deck tacking and gybing gerinally getting used to the boat's rigging. Then the countdown began...
We managed a pretty good start albeit the jib top was on upside down. Then a bowl of spag bol later and I was in bed as we were on watch at 2300. Rough seas... which made it very hard to steer with the tiller. I'm feeling seasick so I'm going to sign off.
